Perseids Meteor Shower
A meteor shower occurs when a number of meteors enter the Earth's atmosphere at approximately the same time and place. Since the year 36 CE there have been records of an annual meteor shower known as the Perseids (because it appears to originate in the constellation Perseus) that is most observable during the nights of August 10-12. Observers everywhere except the South Pole can see as many as 60 meteors an hour streak across the sky on what is often referred to as the Night of the Shooting Stars.

☀️ AUGUST 2025: THE MONTH OF WONDER ☀️
💖 Monthly Mantra 💖
With open hearts and curious minds,
We greet the wonder in each day.
We honor the sacred cycles of earth and sky,
Cherishing all beings, seen and unseen.
We seek wisdom in nature,
Respect the spark of divinity in ourselves and others,
And walk in gratitude for the mysteries that connect us all.
🕯️Extinguishing the Chalice 🕯️
As we extinguish this chalice, we remember that which we CAN control. Our actions and our attitudes will set the pace for our days and are the ONLY powers we wield in life.
